Product Information

  • Family owned and operated for over fifty years, Schramsberg Vineyards was established in 1965 by Jack and Jamie Davies who set out to make world-class, vintage-dated sparkling wine in the true méthode traditionelle style. Schramsberg Brut Rose is fruitful, complex and dry, making it both versatile with food and delicious by itself as an aperitif. The character of the wine is most strongly influenced by bright, flavorful Pinot Noir grown along the California coast from southern Mendocino County to northern Marin County. Layers of strawberry and raspberry lead on the nose, with notes of candied apple and a hint of ginger to add depth and a richness. The palate opens with tangy acidity and a bright, juicy core, supported by flavors of strawberry-rhubarb and pineapple with a long finish. Schramsberg Brut Rose sparkling wine is highly versatile with ideal food pairings including creamy cheeses (brie, goat cheese), salty charcuterie (prosciutto, salami) and fried appetizers or spicy BBQ dishes. The bottle is 750ml and has 12.8% ABV.
