Results come quickly, taking only 1 second for the temperature to be displayed in the easy to read screen. This makes taking an infant or childs temperature much easier and much more accurate! Their temperatures can even be taken while they sleep thanks to the mute feature. The results are almost impossible to taint unlike oral thermometers that sometimes take minutes and require the mouth be firmly closed for the duration of the reading. The thermometer uses AAA batteries which are not included.
