  • Frescobaldi Tenuta Castel Giocondo Brunello di Montalcino comes from one of Tuscany's most ancient and storied estates at the southwest of Montalcino which began producing Brunello in the 1800s. This Sangiovese is hand-harvested then fermented in stainless steel before extended aging in wood and bottle. The wine offers a deep ruby color with intense floral and dark fruit aromas that evolve into complex spice and tertiary notes making it one of Italy's most celebrated red wines.A full-bodied red with aromas of sweet violet, wild berries, star anise, and black pepper. Elegant with a very long persistent finish. Pairs superbly with steak, aged cheeses, and tomato-based pasta dishes.
