  • "Chrysanthemums, or ‘Mums’ for short, are a fall favorite among many for their vibrant displays of color and long bloom time. These hardy perennial plants take center stage in the garden after the summer plants have stopped flowering and are very easy to care for.
    Mums prefer full sun to partial shade and need to be planted in well-drained soil. Water daily or when the soil surface feels dry to the touch. Be sure to avoid wetting the flowers and leaves as doing so can encourage disease or mold growth on the blooms! Flowers can be removed as they begin to fade to enhance the appearance of the plant.
