This vaccine helps protect against Hepatitis A, a highly contagious liver infection caused by the hepatitis A virus (HAV). It is available in two doses, with the first dose recommended at 12-23 months old and the second dose at least 6 months following the initial vaccination.
The hepatitis A vaccine is also recommended for individuals who are at an increased risk for hepatitis A infection, including those traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease and individuals 2-18 years old who have not previously received the hepatitis A vaccine.

This vaccine helps protect against hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by the hepatitis B virus. It is available for infants, children and adolescents under 19 years old who have not been vaccinated, as well as for adults who are at increased risk of hepatitis B.

This vaccine helps protect against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer and genital warts in both women and men. It is available in two doses, with the first dose typically given around 11-12 years old, though it may be administered as early as 9 years old.

These vaccines are available to children younger than 5 years old and individuals who smoke, have heart disease, asthma or chronic lung disease, or are over the age of 50.

This vaccine helps protect against tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis, which are contagious bacterial diseases.
The DTaP vaccine is available for children under 7 years old while the Tdap vaccine is available to adolescents 11-12 years old.
In addition to the initial dose of Tdap, adults should receive a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Our Available Injections
The Little Clinic is equipped to administer certain prescribed injections and allergy shots at the provider's discretion based on your illness, symptoms, health status and the prescribed injectable. To obtain additional information on the prescribed injections or allergy shots that may be administered at The Little Clinic, stop by or call your local clinic. The Pharmacy is unable to administer injections at this time.
Once you have received the two initial shots administered by your allergist, you’re welcome to visit any of our clinic locations for subsequent injections. Please bring the following items to your visit:
- Written approval from your allergist
- Allergy serum vial
- Dosing instructions and injection log
Note: After your allergy shot is administered at The Little Clinic, we will observe you for 30 minutes.
Vitamin B-12 injections can be administered at The Little Clinic with a valid prescription for the medication. Fill the prescription at a pharmacy, then bring the medication directly to any clinic location. After reviewing the prescriber’s instructions and conducting a quick consultation, the healthcare provider may administer your medication.
Note: Medication should be in the prescribed container with instructions and should not be tampered with.
The Little Clinic is equipped to administer injectable birth control, such as Depo-Provera, in all clinic locations. Fill the prescription at a pharmacy, then bring the medication directly to any clinic location. One of our Board-Certified Healthcare Providers will review the prescription with you and discuss any healthcare concerns before administering. Please note that a pregnancy test may be required prior to administration of certain medications.

Most prescribed medications can be taken by mouth. However, there are some medications that must be administered via injection either into the muscle or fatty tissue in the body. While most of these can be self-administered at home, sometimes it is required (or more comfortable) to have a healthcare provider administer these for you. The Little Clinic can provide injections of patient-supplied home medications at all locations after a consultation and examination by one of our Board-Certified Healthcare Providers. Contact your local clinic to ask about your specific medication.
