How does the new fuel program work?
The Ralphs fuel program allows you to earn discounts on gas by earning Ralphs fuel points for your grocery purchases. Ralphs fuel points can be redeemed for a fuel discount at participating Shell locations and Ralphs fuel centers. You can redeem 100 fuel points and earn a discount of 10 cents per gallon. Fuel discounts are limited up to 35 gallons of fuel per purchase. Credit Card fraud prevention policies limit transactions at the dispenser.
How do I earn fuel points?
Just do your regular shopping using your Ralphs rewards Card. You'll earn one point for every dollar you spend. Some exclusions apply; see Rules of the Road section for details.
Do Gift Card purchases count toward fuel points?
Yes. Gift Cards earn 2X fuel points every day on hundreds of cards with the exception of Ralphs Gift Cards, Green Dot Cards, MoneyPaks and 1-2-3 REWARDS® Visa® Prepaid Debit Card and Re Charge Card™, American Express® Variable Load Gift Card, Visa Variable Load Gift Card and MasterCard® Variable Load Gift Card. All remaining Gift Card Purchases count toward your points. Some exclusions apply; see Rules of the Road section for details.
Does filling prescriptions count toward fuel points?
Yes, when you are enrolled in the Ralphs Pharmacy rewards Program. Every eligible prescription earns 50 fuel points with the exception of government funded prescriptions. Some exclusions apply; see Rules of the Road section or your Ralphs Pharmacy for details.
Is there a limit to how many Ralphs fuel points I can earn?
No, there is no limit. Where can I redeem my fuel points? Fuel points are redeemable at any of the Kroger family of Store fuel stations, including Ralphs and Food 4 Less or participating Shell locations.
What happens if I have more than 100 fuel points?
If you have more than 100 fuel points available at the time you redeem your discount, any excess fuel points will remain on your Ralphs rewards Card through the end of the following calendar month. For example, if you earn 232 fuel points in July, you will have two fuel discounts you can redeem in July or August. If you have earned fuel discounts in both months, the oldest discount will be redeemed first.
How many points can I redeem at once?
There is a limit of 100 points that can be redeemed in a single fuel fill-up. When you redeem 100 points you will earn 10¢ off per gallon on your fuel purchase at Ralphs and participating Shell stations. Fuel discounts are limited to 35 gallons. Credit Card fraud prevention policies limit transactions at the dispenser.
How does the process at the Shell pump work?
1. If paying inside, see cashier BEFORE inserting your Ralphs rewards Card.
2. BEFORE you insert your payment card, follow the screen prompts to initiate the Ralphs discount process.
3. Insert your Ralphs rewards Card, or manually enter your alternate ID or your Ralphs rewards card or Ralphs rewards plus Visa® shopper's card number found on the back of your card or key fob.
4. Select your form of payment and fuel grade.
I scan my Ralphs rewards card at Ralphs' stores, why can't I scan it at Shell?
Shell station fuel dispensers don't have scanning technology. To get the discount, either insert your large Ralphs rewards card or enter your Ralphs rewards card or Ralphs rewards plus Visa® shopper's card number found on the back of your card or key fob. You can also enter your alternate ID. Remember, your alternate ID and / or phone number must be registered with Ralphs in order for them to work properly.
How do I keep track of my points?
Your current fuel points balance is located at the bottom of your Ralphs receipt. You can also check your fuel points balance online by registering your Ralphs rewards Card number or on the Kroger Co mobile app for your Android device or iPhone under “Rewards”.
Can I choose not to use my discount at the fuel pump?
Yes. Here's how you can save your discount for a future trip to the pump. At Shell - Don't insert your Ralphs rewards Card at the pump. At Ralphs - Select NO when prompted at the pump. Your fuel points will remain on your Ralphs rewards card for future use.
How long are the fuel points good for?
Fuel points earned in a calendar month are available for use through the end of the following calendar month. For example, if you earn 232 fuel points in July, you will have two fuel discounts you can redeem in July or August. If these discounts are not redeemed, points expire at the end of August. Points earned in August would be good through the end of September.
Do I need to register for this program?
No. Customers may simply use their existing Ralphs rewards Card to receive these fuel discounts. If you have a Ralphs rewards Card, you have everything you need to start shopping and earning fuel points. If you want to sign up for a Ralphs rewards Card, simply visit any check stand.
